Chef Becker has a Bachelors in Culinary Management from Lincoln Culinary Institute, as well as a Bachelors from UMass Amherst in Hospitality Tourism Management. There he led his team to win gold at the Inter-Continental Iron Chef competition in Canada.
With 15 years in the industry, most recently Chef Becker was the head chef for catering at Lattitude Restaurant where he ran a variety of events often with hundreds of people. “When I do a wedding for 200 people and they tell me it’s the best experience they’ve had, that is why I keep doing my job.”
At Craft 32 Chef Becker is getting creative and unique – designing a menu with food not offered elsewhere in East Longmeadow or the surrounding towns. “I love this industry. I’m ready to cook good food and make people happy.”
Chef Meadows has cooked in restaurants from Miami, to Boston, to Western Mass over the last 15 years. He comes to Craft 32 from Samuel’s Tap and Table at the Basketball Hall of Fame where he was the executive chef. Chef Meadows thrives under pressure. When the restaurant is full and many people are depending on him to make their night a great one, that is his favorite place to be. And when he comes out to touch tables and he sees people with big smiles and empty plates, “That’s the best feeling, you can’t ask for anything else as a chef.”
